Our Commitment
At Redefined Kitchens & Bath, we believe exceptional craftsmanship should stand the test of time. Every project is completed with meticulous attention to detail, premium materials, and industry best practices. We proudly stand behind our workmanship and are committed to ensuring your investment performs as intended.
Workmanship Warranty
Redefined Kitchens & Bath warrants its installation workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of substantial project completion.
During this warranty period, we will repair defects resulting directly from our workmanship at no additional labor cost to the homeowner.
Examples may include:
- Improper installation
- Installation-related leaks
- Loose trim or moldings
- Cabinet or hardware adjustments resulting from installation
- Tile or finish deficiencies caused by installation
- Other installation defects determined to be the responsibility of Redefined Kitchens & Bath
Manufacturer Warranties
Many of the products we install carry their own manufacturer warranties.
These may include:
- Cabinetry
- Countertops
- Plumbing fixtures
- Appliances
- Flooring
- Shower systems
- Windows and doors
- Lighting
- Hardware
- Specialty finishes
Manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the manufacturer and vary by product. We will gladly assist our clients in coordinating warranty claims whenever possible.
Natural Materials, Wood & Stone
Many premium materials are unique by nature. Natural variations in:
- Wood grain
- Stone veining
- Color
- Texture
- Mineral deposits
- Patina
are normal characteristics and are not considered defects.
Wood Products
Wood naturally expands and contracts with seasonal humidity changes. Minor movement, shrinking, swelling, hairline joints, and seasonal changes are expected characteristics of real wood products and are not considered warranty issues.
Stone Products
Natural stone is porous and unique. Proper sealing and routine maintenance are the homeowner’s responsibility unless otherwise specified in writing. Staining, etching, mineral variation, and natural movement are not considered workmanship defects.
Caulking, Grout & Finishes
Caulking & Sealants
Caulk and sealants are maintenance items. Over time, normal expansion, contraction, and settlement may require periodic recaulking by the homeowner.
Grout
Minor hairline grout cracking may occur due to normal building movement and is not considered a structural failure. If cracking results from installation defects during the workmanship warranty period, Redefined Kitchens & Bath will repair the affected areas.
Paint & Finish Touch-Ups
Minor touch-ups may be required after normal settling or seasonal movement. Paint damage caused by impact, abrasion, moisture, or homeowner modifications is not covered.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper use or abuse
- Accidents
- Neglect or lack of maintenance
- Water damage originating outside our work
- Plumbing, roofing, or structural failures unrelated to our installation
- Fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, or other acts of nature
- Mold or mildew resulting from ventilation, moisture, or homeowner maintenance
- Damage caused by pets
- Damage caused by third-party contractors
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Cosmetic changes resulting from normal aging or UV exposure
- Damage caused by chemical cleaners not recommended by the manufacturer
Warranty Service
If you believe you have a warranty concern:
- Contact Redefined Kitchens & Bath as soon as reasonably possible.
- Provide photographs when available.
- Allow reasonable access for inspection.
- If the issue is determined to be covered under this warranty, repairs will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
Transferability & Limitation of Liability
Transferability
This workmanship warranty applies only to the original purchaser and original installation location unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Limitation of Liability
This limited warranty is the exclusive workmanship warranty provided by Redefined Kitchens & Bath.
Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective workmanship at our sole discretion. Redefined Kitchens & Bath shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
